In February 2021, Singapore launched the Singapore Green Plan 2030 – a movement designed to safeguard the nation’s environment by improving sustainability rates [1]. The plan urges committed efforts across 5 Key Targets – City in Nature, Energy Reset, Sustainable Living, Green Economy, Resilient Future – targeting urban greenery, mindful consumption and eco-education to raise nationwide sustainability.

The road to building and maintaining an environmentally friendly country is no easy feat. The process requires time, patience and a whole lot of effort from both the government and the people. We, as citizens, have the responsibility and, more importantly, the power to care for our beloved garden city and help it thrive amidst rising climate concerns.
