Public Resources and Healthcare Providers in SG

There are many public resources and healthcare providers available in Singapore should other avenues of care be inaccessible or inconvenient. Please take note of the ones relevant to you, or check out our resource page for more!

General Resources: 

  1. MindSG is a one-stop online portal for national mental health and well-being resources. It offers content curated by mental health experts, doctors, and psychologists that encourages Singaporeans to look after their mental wellbeing and that of their family and community.

Public Resources for Adults and Seniors:

  1. CareCorner is a social service agency and volunteer centre that offers a wide range of intervention support, counselling services, and outreach. In particular, it offers tailored support and counselling not just to children and youths, but also for families and seniors who need mental health support. 

  2. Sage CC is also a social service agency, providing counselling and support to seniors, their family members, and caregivers. Their focus is on psycho-social-emotional health and active ageing. Centre-based counselling services are free of charge for Singaporeans and PRs who are over 50, or who are family members or caregivers of an adult over 50. 

Public Resources for Youths:

  1. Community Health Assessment Team (CHAT) is an initiative by the Institute of Mental Health that aims to promote mental health awareness, access to mental health resources, and mental health assessment for people between 16 and 30 years old.   1. Mindline.sg offers a variety of mental health tools for individuals anxious to seek out in-person resources. Their AI chatbot Wysa, offers free 24/7 online therapy, as well as recommended self-care exercises to complete and a real-time assessment of emotional wellbeing. Belle the Helpbot directs users to appropriate mental health programmes and services based on users’ indicated needs. Lastly, for individuals aged 12 to 25, the e-Counselling Center (eC2) offers psychoeducation, outreach, mental health screening and service linkage, and basic one-to-one or group emotional support.

  2. Community Resource, Engagement and Support Team for Youth (CREST-Youth) is a community outreach team for youths aged 12 to 25 years old who are at-risk or who have mental health conditions, as well as for caregivers of youth who require additional support. Examples of these organisations are Fei Yue Community Services and SHINE Children and Youth Services.

Healthcare Providers:

  1. Please use your community resources and seek assistance at local GPs and polyclinics

  2. The Institute of Mental Health (IMH) offers a great quantity of educational resources and services. Contact the IMH’s mental health hotline at 6389-2222, or find out more at the link below.

  3. Silver Ribbon provides community support to the community free of charge. There are face-to-face sessions, as well as sessions conducted over phone, Whatsapp, and Microsoft Teams. Find out more on how to access their services on their FAQ below.
